Saturday is near and the weather is predicted to be fab-U-lous and the ticket sales are going well. Be that as it may I would like to offer an incentive to those who want a bargain. I am offering a last minute incentive to save. After all, it is a Stimulus Package Boat Ride. LoL !!!

With great pleasure we announce that Together in Spirit (TIS) will be launching it's 1st "Stimulus Package" event on Saturday June 6, 2009.
It is a Boat Ride on Manhattan's Westside "Queen of Hearts". There will be 3 levels of Soul DANCING for your LIFE, literally. DJ Herb Martin playing 70's & 80's CLASSICS on the Upper Level, DJ Naeem Johnson playing Soulful HOUSE on the Lower Level and in between we will be socializing, cocktailing & viewing Aleathia's Artwork on display. She's a House-head & former TIS Staffer whose artwork is impeccable. Her paintings, etchings & postcards will be available for sale. On that same level Together in Spirit
T-Shirts and Mixed CD's by Herb & Naeem will be on Sale at the TIS Merchandise Stand.
During these challenging times we either succumb to the drama of it all OR we rise to the occasion and celebrate the beauty of life, " every minute, every second and every hour" as Miss Jocelyn Brown so beautifully puts it on "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". So, on the Hudson River Dance Floor: We Will Stimulate Ourselves, Treat Ourselves and Free Ourselves.

With heartfelt emotion & pleasure we announce that after 7 years of Grand Service to Together in Spirit, it's Members & Partygoers our Resident DJ Herb Martin will be branching out on his own. He will be taking on new DJ projects, productions (Amadi, etc) and other recordings to match his highly successful recording "Soul Drums". Herb is by far a stellar DJ that deserves only the best of the best because that it what he has put out consistently since being the Resident DJ for Together in Spirit. My only advice to all, "Don't Miss this Special Event".
