Hello party people, do I have a party for you guys!!! A Friday night no less!
I checked it out last week when Ultra Nate played, and let me tell you, y'all are really going to love this space!!! Oh, and Ultra beat it lovely!!!
The upstairs of Rebel, where the party takes place (251 W 30th St bet. 7 & 8th Av), is ridiculously lovely!! The sound system is robust and exactly what we love. The floor is beautiful and spaceous, and the lightening is wonderful!! The place has enough nooks and crannies for folks to find "their spot"....
oh, and security was very "hands off" and there was no "body cavity" type searches like other major clubs.
I spoke to the folks in charge of this party (Ben Johnson) and they are about to bring in some of the top djs in the soulful house industry to rock our world
(see the attached flyer).
It's been awhile since I have been excited about a new party, and I am sure when you see the place, you will too.
