DJing in Thailand - UK heads

Wassup,

Some of you probably read the thread posted a few weeks back about a new bar opening in Ko Samui Thailand with an emphasis on playing good house music..

Ive been in contact with Simon, whos venture it is, and the whole idea seems right on the money.. so if any other UK heads are considering going over, it might be cool to travel over together .. i'm thinking about going for a few months or so, early in the new year probably

the music is gonna be house - so most of y'all gonna be sorted for that - but Simon said to me that he wants a varied vibe, so 'anything from disco to techno', which is pretty cool

hit me with a PM if you're interested in talking about heading over there together, or meeting up there. it might make the journey from Bangkok a lil easier with all those records if thers a few of us!! and obviously this does go out to heads from further afield too, we could meet up before heading over, or hook up out there

I hope some of y'all are interested, i was kinda sceptical for a bit, but it seems this would be a wicked experience

Please send me a PM as your plans come closer to fruition. I plan to be in Thailand around New Years and again next summer.
Incidentally, the nightlife in Bangkok is taking a beating. Several of the most popular nightclubs have experienced surprise "raids" in which the cops enter, barricade the club, and force all of the patrons to be piss tested. Those who are found positive for drugs are then victim to intimidation by the police and judicial system.
My sister and her friends were caught in a raid a few months ago at a very upscale, elegant club whose owners are known to be politically connected. Just a few days ago, my brother and three of my best friends were caught in a raid at a new superclub called Bed, in the heart of Bangkok. Fortunately, my brother had enough of his drug-free piss to share with my friends; however by the time they had divided it up amongst the 4 of them, they had about 1 cm each!!
