I heard you're looking for a loft. I have been looking for about a month now and found two good deals in my neighborhood.
The first is at 170 Tillary St. It's the big white building you see on your left when you come off the Manhattan bridge at the corner of Flatbush, across from McDonald's. I've seen several places in there and I'm probably gonna end up taking one of them. They range from about 650 sq. feet on up. And they start around $1500, which ain't bad. They are pretty raw, with concrete floors, a bathroom, and a kitchen sink/fridge.
The other is on Taafe Place, which is between Dekalb and Willoughby, right near LG. There are these four gigantic industrial buildings there that have all been converted to lofts. They are actually pretty nice, wood floors, bedrooms and bathrooms already built out, laundry in the building, etc. They also give you the first month's rent for free when you move in. I was reluctant to move there cuz it means being back on the G train, which I hate. nevertheless, they are quite big for the money they're asking.
I don't have a number for the latter but the former advertises in the Voice every week.
You can Email me at bevan_julian@hotmail.com if you have any questions. Peace.

sleng teng riddim! I was referring to the fact that the early 90s is now considered "old school", both in reggae and in hip hop, which is laughable.
ALso, in addition to no Sean Paul, I would say that "Who Seh Me Dun" should be off-limits as well.
