Any good clubs in Oxford, UK ?

Friend of mine used to clubs in Kazakhstan just emailed me and said she made it to Oxford University. Now this dancing machine is looking for good clubs.

Can we help her out with suggestions?

There's 3 or 4 clubs in Oxford, there's one on the Cowley Road, just down from Magdalen Bridge that I used go to from 92 to 95, they used to play house.

There's no real clubs in town, although with it having two massive Universities in town there's often a lot of one offs by students..

And there's the obvious glitzy nightclubs which you'll find in any town in England...

My advice would be to check out the London Tube Bus which runs all-night and hit London, it takes 90 minutes.

Despite it's image, there's some rough areas of Oxford as well, so definitely no all-night parties in the Blackbird Leas estate.

Which college is your friend entering?

John McIntosh might have something for you on this as I believe he was living in Oxford more recently than me.

Great, thanks! She got a scholarship of some kind to do post-graduate studies at Oxford. I assume in Int. Finance /Econ. That's all I know. She's Kazak, and we met in Bloomington, IN . She's a great friend of mine, we've been doing the long-distance back and forth for a while now. I told her to watch this thread.
