I just wanted to say thanks to all the London headz I had the pleasure of meeting last week. Each time I go, I have a better time than before. This trip was really something because I was able to meet & greet some of the industry's more popular players.
There are a few people that help make this trip what it was:
Dj Alex: Thanks for hangin with me, taking me around to some of the stores and making that lovely dinner for the crew on Sat. You got the spirit and the love. I see how the scene is out there, its the same everywhere. Theres alot of love within the small group of people that appreciates good music, Will's party was evidence of that. Keep making things happen on your end.
Ramar: Thanks for your help as well. It was probably a good thing you hung out for a short period of time, otherwise you would've spent as much money as me and Alex did.
S Parris: Very nice meeting you and listening to some of your musical selections over at Alex's place... You London guys are some serious music lovers.
Jeremy N.: Thanks for staying up late at Will's place, that was alot of love. Keep in touch.
Will B. & Tito Heron: Thanks guys as usual, talk with you later
Blackwax: Again, it was good to meet you, and I hope next time we get a chance to sit down and talk a little.
Rap & Sam: Big Ups to you two! You guys reached out, thank you! Your efforts and love for the scene will take you a long way.
Matt & Chris: Chris where were you? I know you were a busy man, but thanks to you too! Matt, I'm glad we got a chance to hang out spend more money on music. It was a pleasure also playing out with you! Hope to do the same next time!
Big Ups to Dj Uchikawa, one of Japan's best dj/producers, and one of the nicest guys in the business.
I met quite a few lady djs that can play their asses off and know good/decent music. All were very nice looking too!!!
I missed Bill Brewster, Mick Mesa, Bob & David Haynes & Tim Webster, maybe next time guys.

Cordell, good to see you over again & a pleasure to hear you doing your thing for London's fickle drunken bar-crowd graemlins/all_coholic.gif

the session at Alex's was when we got to share some musical (and culinary) appreciation, that was very nice to do - all too short though...

it was on your recommendation I finally checked out Will's party, I'd not attended one before tho I had known they were happening. goes to show how much a visitor can show you about your home... I danced hard at that one - big ups to DJ Uchikawa. graemlins/cool_shades.gif

keep us updated about your projects over there bro, peace
John
