my friend told me about a show in miami in the 80's where she showed up 4 hours late for an outdoor show in the rain, then just walked out on stage in a white bathrobe and just stood there for like 3 minutes with the crowd going nuts before belting out la vie en rose... luv hur!!

just saw her in barcelona, and she killed it. she's like 60 years old but still looks like she did in conan the destroyer. was an hour or so late, but that's par to the course.
