I just heard it and it sucks soggy doggy balls. It's ok,but there was not more to add to this tune.
The original was dope and is a future classic.Just an opinion from a big sexy dj..

Is that the Louie Vega version with vocals?
I heard this when he played at Shelter, and I was a bit confused. It sorta sounded like there had been a vocal version that never made it on the 12" or something. Meaning, it didn't sound completely different.
I love the original. LOVE it.

I like it. I believe it is Anane Vega on vocals. I first heard Frankie Feliciano play then a few weeks back and then LLV Columbus day Weekend.

That's the thing about re-mixes: they frequently get judged a little harshly when the original is so well-liked; then people sometimes wonder, "why didn't they just leave it alone?" I listened to the remix last night, and I do like it! Glad I am not alone smile.gif

I wasn't crazy about the this or the George Levin remixes initially, but I'm coming around.
Originals = classics. Remixes = nice tools.

I was at 718 Sessions and Danny played the El Barrio beat, but with a different vocal. Shit wasn't even that good.

I am definiteley not feeling the George Levin, and house addict is dead on with MAW recycling drum breaks. I heard that joint that used the "El Barrio" beat and I was like huh? It's like they don't know any more conga players or something. And they need to bury the Brand New Day drums in a vault somewhere.
