What year please? Downtown 161 release

Hi Gents,

I live in the U.K. and happened to come across a 12" in an Oxfam Charity shop.

Its 'When there is love, the beat is down' by Technique and re-produced by Derrick Carter.

Its on the label Downtown 161 DT1643.

Its still got the reaction sheet in it with a hand written note by Linda Perron smile.gif

Does anyone have any idea what year please. I can't even play it as my decks are in for repair:(

Is it good or baaaaaad?

Don't own this 12 but according to the catolog number, it was probably released in late 1997 or early 1998.

I bought it at the time and played it a lot. I remember DJing in Cologne and playing this track and that would've been early 97. I'd say either late 96 or early-to-mid 97.
