I wanted to know if anyone can point me in the right direction concerning hip-house records. We all know the genre is dead and most of these records sound wack nowadays, but I know there were quite a few which had some dope B-sides. I would like to know if anyone can list some tracks that had some nice dubs or piano versions of the original vocals. Any info is appreciated. Peace!

I always like the P.A Version of Tell it As It Is, by company two, loses the rap, and keeps the 'Oh Ah na na nana' bit.
Also the Funky Music mix of Yo Yo Get Funky (fast Eddie), loses the rap, but keeps the Yo Yo's.
The Nightmare Mix of Hip House (Fast Eddie)is a killer!!!!

If you can track down any KC Flight, Doug Lazy and King Sun tracks that all had dope dubs. I actually miss the era when house kids and hip-hop headz were one!

long live twin hype.

I don't know if this was Hip House really, but there was a cut called The Chief by hmmmm...Tony Scott?...good instrumental and even the "vocal" wasn't bad.

Maybe also..

Fast Eddie - Make Some Noise
Doug Lazy - Let it Roll
Kyze (???) - Stomp

I CONTROL THE PARTY...SHEEAT, HAVEN'T HEARD THAT FOR SO LONG.

I was also listening to The Break Boys - Listen to the Rhythm Flow, which I always had as a breakbeat classic, however there's a hiphouse version, so the B side falls in this category.

Anyone remember Tony Scott?s

Kyze (???) - Stomp Seems we spoke at the same time, Tony Scott was (or imitated) a native Indian, hence the Chief, that was a cut at the time, I haven't heard it for ages.

Check out Portrait of a Masterpiece by The Doc. Bad Tune! Produced by Eazy-E remixed by CJ Mackintosh on Ruthless Records from 1990. IMO this track was slept on big time.

Also, remember CHubb Rock Ya bad chubbs, it was used as backing music for the UK's first anti Ecstasy advert/commercial on TV, with the young lad falling of a bridge.
