Have to give some respects to my man D, last night he gave a real nice vibe to the third room.
Darshan played some great 80's boogie like "Bryan and Zan", Leroy Burgess, Mouzon's electric band- I hope I have that right ? Si. Some great disco alot I did not recognise, deep house classics, Dazzle- Dance With Me, Outlaw Soundworks, Dance Reaction. I also heard Gerd's record as well.
We shifted out at 4am after a long night, and D was still turning it out. Went to show that you can fit alot of music in if you play it the right way and still keep a room full !.
And I ain't had a good time like that in that room since Harvey and Gerry used to play there.

The record yes I played it out a few times as well. It sounded great in the 3rd room for sure.
When you 1st told us about it, I passed the news on to Vinyl Junkies who ordered some.

Oh, that is very nice from you, Alex.
I shipped on record to Vinyl Junkies as we have re-pressed it, becasue I didn't know taht they had it in stock. I haven't heard fro mthem since that. So, if you can pass it along a second time, you will be rewarded ;)

Alex. ;) Alex, did he play "pump your body" by Bryan and Zan? the bassline must have sounded incredible in a club sound system...and with Mouzon's Electric Band, did he play "everybody get down" or the flip called "i still love you" from the 1980 12-inch Vanguard pressing? going back to Alphonse Mouzon, he has a website up where he has a lot of his older albums repressed on cd for sale...i'm looking into getting his 1981 and 1982 efforts. here's the address:

Thanks to Darshan for last night and good to meet you, be it briefly... and as for the music, what a tight selection - and nicely programmed graemlins/cool_shades.gif Thanks for dropping Mouzon's, yes it was 'Everybody Get Down' Kelvy and it sounded great. Other tracks that I can remember hearing are Sylvester's 'Band of Gold' and 'Bodyshake' by TC Curtis, perfect for the weekend work-out.
