William Marshall, better known as "Blacula", died Wednesday at 78 years old. When I was in High School in the '70's, that film had us transfixed by the notion the we could become a "Zombie" like in all the past horror films previously. But this Vampire was cool; gettin the women and hangin with the fellas too. I was watching Blacula not too long ago, and dying laughing at the lingo and gear worn in the movie. I think I'll look for a DVD copy of the various Blacula flicks for my collection. He played Blacula with dignity, as he did all his parts. hail.gif
