-you mean "sukiyaki" is not just a chic song?
* my favorite dish - beef and veg cooked in a big old pot with soy sauce, sugar and water - a real country dish that'll put pounds on you
-what are "okanomiyaki" and "Gravy & Scraps"?
* Okanomiyaki - cocked on a hotplate, like a spanish omelete, throw in some beef strips, cabbage and shrimp and cook it it up..
* Gravy = gravy/meat sauce * Scraps = are the bits of batter that falls off the fish when cooked at a traditional UK fish shop / so you get chips (fries fried in beef fat), scraps of batter on top, then pour on the gravy... Londoners will laugh this is real country (heart-attack) style
-what's "flicking bean and flexing"?
* = the bean could be know as the man in the boat ;) and flexing is mixing (??)
-what's "a Takanawadai carrott"?
* = Takanawadai is where I live and if I can't sleep then I roll one that's pure at the front then tabbacco at the rear, sort of looks like a carrott (watch the film Withnail and I - a Brit flick)
-and finally, what is "galaxy chocolate"
* = a brand of chocolate from the UK that's really creamy and rich.
and "nihon"?
* - it's japan in japanish
thank you...you have my nose wide open... :D </font>[/QUOTE]

http://pics.thebiglot.com/194188.jpg
1974 Chevrolet Malibu
i can see you're very smitten with the northstar engines...heh! heh! can't blame you...Cadillac dropped the sharp Eldorado last years with the last body style lasting for ten years...they had a special commemorative edition which was available in special red and white hues (that last El Dorado shape lasted for ten years)....the last of the traditional personal luxury coupes graemlins/mecry.gif
http://www.velocityphotos.com//images/stk/2002/cd2002eldorado01.jpg
there was even an aftermarket convertible conversion that was gorgeous:
http://www.car-nection.com/yann/Dbas_ima/Dr99cnv.jpg
http://www.car-nection.com/yann/DBas_drm/95cnv1.jpg
about the seville sts, rumor has it that the seville body style which has been on the market since 1998 is going to get a complete makeover by 2005 or 2006(???) my guess is that they might make it rear-drive...also, the deville is slated to get a makover just after the seville does ...looking at the current caddy trend, they're most likely to ditch the names (Seville, DeVille) in favor of acronyms (STS, CTS, XLR).
speak soon....great to see you around here again:)

Hi Kelvy,
I don't really have a 74 Chevy... (my brother does though, a brown Nova smile.gif )
Chevro-legs is a bad pun meaning that all I have to drive is my legs, which is to say that I walk everywhere cause my sorry ass don't have a car. :D
I've only owned two cars before, both of them were 70s Dodge vans. Not the most reliable vehicles, but it sure was fun to have my funky living room with me wherever I went. Something like this:

about those "Tradesman" 70s-era Dodge van, they were a hit with the custom van set back in the seventies...remember those with the aftermarket thick, custom chrome grilles and the mini-quad square headlight set? bubble windows and candy paint aplomb!
as a matter of fact, that Dodge van made its debut at the 1971 model year...to this day, the basic design is still in production (it last got a front-end makeover for the 1998 model year)....

2003 Dodge Cargo Van
now they got the Sprinter which is actually a Mercedes-Benz van in disguise (it also is marketed stateside under the "Frieghtliner" brand)..i've seen already a couple of ambulances using it....i wonder if this is what Dodge has as the Cargo Van's successor or is it just an addition...
