TONY HUMPHRIES ONCE AGAIN PROVED WHY HE IS THE TOP DJ THIS SIDE OF THE WORLD. HE LAID IT DOWN LIKE TONY DOES. SOULFUL EVEN CLASSICS. HE PLAYED THE CLASSIC WEEKEND BY PHREEK AND THE CROWD LOST IT AND I AS WELL HAD CHILLS. IT WAS GREAT. I WANTED TO STAY AND HEAR LITTLE LOUIE AT 2AM BUT TED PATTERSON WAS SO BAD ( HARD NO VOCALS LOTS OF DUBS AND DRUM BEATS) HORRIBLE SO I LEFT BEFORE LOUIE GOT ON. BUT I HEARD LOUIE TORE IT UP WHICH DOESNT SURPRISE ME. BUT TONY A TRUE PIONEER OF DJING. PEACE.

I missed Tony but I got there during Tedd... and he was layin it down (if you can appreciate the style he plays)... personally I was enjoying myself, and the crowd was going crazy... black/white/asian/other/etc hands in the air and all that good stuff... and then Louie just took it another level.... simply amazing.

I stopped in to check out Dimitri's room and he had em going crazy as well...

As for the "tedd patterson was so bad" comment... everyone it entitled to their opinion and preference of style(s) of music. :)

I heard Louie's set was incredible. It's bad enough that I could not go this year. All my peeps gotta call me up and tell me how good the parties have been, how they can't wait for the Large Party, the Yellorange party. Somebody even called me from a club earlier tonight.

I just got back from the Yellorange party and it was off the meter!!! All of the Yellorange DJs including Tony H. worked everyone into a frenzy.

Music 101 - Chicago (I caught the last part of Whyteout's set unfortunately, but I enjoyed listening to this group from Stockholm, Sumo who had the crowd jumping!! I chatted with one of the group members for a little and he was nice enough to give me a CD double pack of their album (I already have the vinyl version of their album, but whose going to refuse free handouts here!! :D )

Beatdownsounds Detroit (I only stayed a little bit
but while I was there they were moving the crowd!!)

Magic Sessions - I heard Tony's set which was very good!! After a few minutes of Ted Patterson, myself and Mike Fossati ventured up to hear Dimitri from Paris. People here on DHP would have loved his set! He played quite a few older classics plus some new unreleased material.

I wish Greg, Glenn, Cheez and the rest of the Chi crew on their party today. Hopefully, I can recover in time.

tedd gave me a damn headache with track..after track...after track....after track.......play some vocals DAMMIT!!! out of 2 hrs i think he played 2.......

the YO party was OFF DA CHAIN!!!! very, very packed and they all threw down.............


can't wait for the poolside party on fri....
