Gerd Andres ep is fine, but the best track is a rework of an oft-used Brasilian sample (I have it on Kevin Johnson's DNH record, but there are other too).

Theo's record is typical Theo. Some will love it, but it's always too strange for my taste.

"'Last call for alcohol' is a laid back house jam using beats from BT Express's 'Do it' and from Herbie Hancock's 'You bet your love', lush guitarro and and echoed vocals. 'Express', a disco flavoured house track is more uptempo. On the flip you'll find two versions of 'Salvador de Bahia' , a minimal house ride with latin flavours, vocal chants and a warm bassline."

Gerd aaaaaaaaaaahahhahahahahahahahah! NOPE! Just let it play. You don't have to play the first part if you're playing in a club though, but back home, I listen to the entire track and enjoy it. One of those tracks.

PS... what's the story behind Akufen's "Theo's theory". Is it some tribute to Theo.... cause it says "(to theo parrish)". hmmmmmmmm.

I think most of it is on the 12" and mini LP that have just arrived in the shops recently.

for all you kdj big spenders on ebay: mahogany 02'will soon be released through peacefrog, so if it's just the music you're after, and don't care about the label, just buy the peacefrog 12".

theo parrish: ss018 is the first soundsignature release i haven't bought, maybe it has to grow on me, but i'm not feeling it.

Yep, if you got the EP's already, then there's only one new one (but plenty missing), the new EP holds what you're missing from the CD version of the LP.
