Defense: 24th overall
Against the Pass: 18th
Against the Rush: 25th
Division:
Denver 6-5
Oakland 3-8
San Diego 2-9
Are these guys for real?
I say DEFINITELY not. Defense wins championships, not soft schedules.
They're contenders, but so is Indy and New England in the AFC......JMJ

I say DEFINITELY not. Defense wins championships, not soft schedules. St Louis had similar numbers in both of thier championship years. Whats the Giants record again?

But we play in the NFC East, meaning each week.... we face actual opponents. If we played division IIIA Parochial, we might be 10-1, too...

The Raiders have had a bad year from Gannon and Broncos have suffered an injury to their starting QB and have no backup. Both teams are an injury and a couple of made plays away from having a good season. You can make all the excuses you want. The Giants are lousy this year. No matter what division they are in they suck. The Chiefs have made plays when they've had to. That is why they are winners. The stats you quoted don't really mean anything. The 10-1 stat does. Don't try to make yourself feel better about your shit teams shit season by bashing the Chiefs.

I've been a Giants fan since '81; the Butch Woolfolk/Rob Carpenter/Ray Perkins Giants. I'll love them and they'll be my team no matter where I live or how they do. Period.
But I know a fu.cking poser when I see one. The Cheifs are the Gerry Cooney of Football. Well, the middle aged Ken Norton's have nearly run out and you'll have to turn it up a notch for real AFC teams in the playoffs. You know, the games you guys have been watching on TV for the last 30 years or so when your season ends? Yeah, those.
Good luck. Miracle. Act of God.
You'll need em.

The Bengals are division leaders(Tied with Baltimore) and have beaten Baltimore(Division leader) and Seattle(also division leaders). The Colts may not even make the playoffs seeing as they are in the same division as the Titans. They will be fighting Miami, Baltimore and Cincy and Denver for the last wild card. If they keep winning they are a lock. But if they stumble....

Number 1, it says that their division must REALLY suck, if they can lead it at 5-5. Number 2, As mediocre as they are, they beat the Chiefs. manhandledya... You're 10-1 and it's meaningless. Hope that you guys somehow spare yourselves the embarrassment of the playoffs.

Dude again look at the Rams first championship year and look at how similar the situations are? Are the Chiefs benefitting from their schedule. Definately. Are they for real? Yes. With a tougher schedule would they still win their division? Definately. Could they bury the Giants? Again definately. Will they beat the Colts if they can make it out of the wild card round? Would definately be a good game. I think the Chiefs would win.

Me:
Number of teams played and/or beaten by the Chiefs with a records better than 6-5: None You:
Actually Denver is 6-5. RIF.
Here's some help
Main Entry: Equal
1 a (1) : of the same measure, quantity, amount, or number as another (2) : identical in mathematical value or logical denotation : EQUIVALENT
See, 6-5 is EQUAL to 6-5.
Main Entry: better
Function: adverb, comparative of WELL
Date: 12th century
1 a : in a more excellent manner b : to greater advantage : PREFERABLY <some things are better left unsaid>
2 a : to a higher or greater degree <he knows the story better than you do> b : MORE <it is better than nine miles to the next town>
7-4 is BETTER than 6-5
The Chiefs haven't beaten anyone. They haven't PLAYED anyone. Bro, I'm NOT making this up. Check for yourself. When you face a 7-4, 8-3 or 9-2 team that's actually beaten opponents, your team will be exposed. People who truly understand the game won't be the least bit suprised.

People who truly understand the game won't be the least bit suprised. </font>[/QUOTE]There are two 6-5 teams right now that are pretty good. They are playin better and more consitently than the 7-4 Dolphins. You say the Chiefs aren't any good despite being 10-1 and yet you continue to bring up their oppenents records. On the one side (Chiefs) you are saying their record is meaningless and on the other(their opponents) you are saying that it is means something. Bottom line: Strength of schedule will have been decided by their opponents records at the end of the year not when they played them(example the Bengals and Ravens are headed to good records and Denver is going to turn it around in the next couple of weeks). That be three good teams they have beaten. Again what is the Giants record? Why are so focused on the Chiefs? Indy hasn't beat anyone other than the Titans(week 2 therefore really meaningless) Why are you not knocking them? I have a great understanding of the game. So do the guys at ESPN who have ranked the Chiefs as the #1 team in the league since week 2. Or do you know more than them? Also all professional football analysts (every single solitary one) I have watched listened to or read an article by have said the Chiefs ARE FOR REAL. Or do you know more than them? You don't have a clue as to what you are talking about. I'll tell you now like I told you in week six. Do not let your fanaticism cloud your good sense. Teams don't go 10-1 by accident schedule or no.
