The first and only time i ever got paid for DJing was by Darrow to play at Deepflyte, July 20, 2002. I proceeded to spend the money on Heinekens at the bar.

Seriously, it was the bomb. I immediately blew it on dinner afterward, but it was great when it happened. What I like is when you get paid and you didn't expect it. I did a show with a friend of mine and a saxophonist playing over our tracks. It shrugged it off as a favor for a friend, but afterward they gave me a check for $100.
