Went to Bang on Friday night to catch Disciple. Eman was really deep in the zone when I got there, which is always a treat. Then Disciple got on and just straight up ripped shit from the first record. He's a true master. Ran in to a lot of old heads I hadn't seen in a minute. drank some Patron. Went home happy.
Did a very late Shelter on Sunday morning. It was more crowded than I've seen in months, and Timmy was throwing down some FUNK - just straight classics I've almost never heard him play: "One Nation Under a Groove", "Funkin' For Jamaica" and a bunch of Prince joints back to back. I haven't heard "Get It Off" in a club in years. Some brother next to me was so inspired he drew the prince symbol on the floor in baby-powder. The crowd was ecstatic. Got back in to some house around 11am. Did some 15 minute mix of some new joint (Nathalie Cole?). Finished of the morning with some salsa.
I love this fvckin' town.

I've been busy packing my apartment. Haven't bought wax in a minute.
