"house" version of flash - fix

is there anyone aware of a "house" version of Orlando Voorn aka Fix - Flash? i heard it ages ago on a Joeski tape from 94/95 and heard that it might have been on Rotax. that last bit could be wrong.

Definitely not on Rotax, since that label was started in 1997. Maybe it's a track which samples the main theme from "Flash"?

There's the initial release on KMS, remixes on Slamdunk(Voorn's own label) and the recent 12" re-release on Electrofunk

There was a nice cut on french label BNO from ~98 that used the same bassline as Flash, I'd have to dig it up to find the artist/title. Pretty stripped back, raw sound.

i personally always preferred 'dope computer' to 'flash'.

There is a record on Rotax that uses the same 'Hydrolic Funk' sample that is in Fix "Flash".

so it might be this one, or it might be on basenotic. i didn't know that the sample came from Parliment. the mix i heard it on had it side by side with Daniel Wang's "Like Some Dream I Can't Stop Dreaming" and it was played in the low 120s.

turns out that i had a copy of Hydraulic Funk and that's defintely not the one.
