Hello soulful dance music lovers,

Just wanted to let you know about a new night on Sunday evenings in the Manchester suburb of Chorlton. Free entry. Runs from 7.30pm - 11.30pm at Bar 480 Wilbraham Road, Chorlton - opposite Kwik Save supermarket.

Featuring DJs Niall Jordan and Mark Lupton taking you on a super soulful journey through classic and northern soul, disco, funk, hip-hop, garage, house, r 'n' b and whatever else takes our fancy.

Come and join us for Manchester's best kept secret. This is for those who keep the faith!

Also we've been doing an open decks slots over the last few weeks - tell us your fave five tunes and who knows it could be you on the decks next for a full half an hour! Impress your friends etc!

Doing it for us in recent weeks has been...

Velvet Hammer: Happy (Northern biggie)
Shaun Escoffery: Let it Go (Jazzanova remix)
Bobby Thurston: Is Something Wrong With You?
Norman Connors: Once I've been There
Lenny Williams: You Got me Running
Heather Headley: He Is (DFA remix)
Frances Nero: Footsteps (K Klass Re mix) ( almost forgot this one, K Klass pull a surprise out of the hat)
Osunlade - Touch My Soul
Hardrive 2000: Never Forget
Ecstasy, Passion and Pain - Good Things Don't Last Forever.
Money Mark: All the People. Been playing it for weeks but still sounds gorgeous.
On an r 'n' b/modern soul vibe: Jonnel: So Whassup; Venus Malone: One on One and Kindred the Family Soul: The Rhythm of Life.
Crazy Penis: You Are We.
Blaze: Breathe. Sorry still not bored with this one, especially Ashley's mix.
Terry Callier: Love Theme from Spartacus. An All In Good Time favourite.
And one last one Chaka Khan - Some Love.

If you live in manchester, and this kind of music sounds like your bag, why not make the trip?
Oh and say hello if you do come down - we're a friendly pair - definitely not moody DJs!

Yep I'm in manchester, and have friends on the 'south side'. I tried to get in touch with your man Niall (is it), he got a shout in IDJ, but the email was wrong. PM me, what ya want.
we may drop by sometime, however I would definately drop by with my records, can I send you a CD, maybe (as I will have to travel), you could offer more than a measley half hour??
