Have Fun David!
Great link David. How are things in Japan? How long are you going to be there? Have a great time. I'm sure you will bring back some great stories.
david,
a friend of mine is there on business and he has no idea where to go and what to do besides the touristy bullshit. you have any recommendations? he's tired of going to the sapporo plant and getting shitfaced.

Hey David hope your trip was great. I use to practice close-up magic as a kid and the Illusions here remind me of one of my heros works by the name of Jerry Andrus. The guy is a genius when it comes to optical illusions. Check out his box and and pencil through two bolts http://www.sandlotscience.com/EyeonIllusions/Andrus.htm . I brought the spinning disk from him along time ago and I'll tell you it fits on my turntable and every once in a while I pop it on and then tell people to stare at it for about 30 seconds then stare at the back of there hand. It looks like your skin is crawling. Freaky shit but real good up close.
