WHAT IS EARLY HARVEST?
It is a party - the marquis stop on Shalewa's Birthday Tour with music by some of New York Citys finest DJs, including Herb Martin and just announced, Kim Lightfoot! In addition to a toast and sweet treats from Brown Sugar Desserts, VIP guests will also enjoy a delicious buffet.
It is a performance featuring favorite work from MUVs repertory as well as a sneak peek of new work that we are preparing for our upcoming 2010 season Ascendance in Bloom.
It is an opportunity for the community that has helped to shape the Urban Village to gather and celebrate an important milestone- five consecutive years of MUV produced events in Brooklyn- and to contribute to our continued growth and creative progress as we undertake the creation of new work expanding on the themes of Ascendance, extending our creative collaboration with composer Dunia Best-Sinnreich and commissioning a new work by choreographer, Aqila Norris.
