A relaxed and interesting set from C2 last sunday. First 2.5 hrs was mainly quality house music, various stuff from Detroit flavours to the life in jungle, old and new. The set was definitely alive but never out of control or direction.
After that, when most of the people had to leave in order to work on monday he switched wisely on to hip hop and brought the soul (+ some girls I didn't even know were there graemlins/respekt.gif ) back to the floor and the party switched nicely to another level. This was followed by various classics from disco to pop and back to house and techno when the floor was up for it.
The place was not overly crowded cos of sunday, but people were definitely feeling it. The resident DJ did a fine job too in setting the mood - playing stuff like 'It's Not What It Was' by Charles Webster, 'Hydrolic Dog', something from Atjazz, 'Quetzal', etc. All in all a magnificent and relaxed night of quality music smile.gif
I remember Craig dropping at least:
DE 'Think Twice' (C2 edit)
Throbbing Gristle 'Hot On The Heels Of Love' (C2 edit)
Instant House 'Awade'
Craig 'Demented Drums'
Dave Clarke 'Way Of Life'(Sneak Rmx)
The Glimmer Twins vs Ray Mang 'UFO Is Coming'
Deetron 'Miss Suave EP'
D'Malicious 'The Loup Garou EP'
Hugh Masekela 'Mama'
Talking Heads 'Once In A Lifetime'
Grace Jones 'Pull Up To The Bumper'
Maurizio 'Domina' (C2 Rmx)
Inner City 'Good Life' (C2 Rmx)
...
Just sharing some feelings from the northern side of the globe -> graemlins/beerchug.gif
