Friday night listening to a Guest mix of Roger S on KMEL. Roger's mixing B.M.U.'s "You will know". I'm in the bathroom cutting my hair. Roger brings in the accpella of "Michael's "Prayer", then I hear this SICK ASS keyboard riff with someone goin "Woooooooooo". First thing I though of was Nature Boy's "The Living Groove", but this cut was even sicker!!!! I check my head for bald spots, everthing is fine, then I put the clippers on the edge of the sink. Run out into the living room wondering "WHAT IN D HAIL IS THIS", gooodd lawd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm thinking that this is a Roger S Production.

It took me 2 years to find out who made this cut. I'm in Berklee doing some record shopping and I find the "Master Works" comilations comprised of The Essential Masters at Work remixes at that time. I see a cut called "Moonshine", hmmm I wonder what this is all about.

Well when I get home, I unwrap the vinyl, I hear "Voices", awww yeahhhhh!!!!!, "Beautiful People", aight, heard it already, "Buddy X", yeah yeah yeah, "Can't Play Around" they did this?????
"A Photograph of Mary" WHATTTT they did this too.

"Souffle H", this too!!!!!!?????? Then "Moonshine"

AWW HELLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right about this time I'm straight buggin!!!!!!!

What are your thought about this sick track!!!

Peace

I prefer "The Hillbilly song" which was on the flipside of the 12". That being said I never would have thought that someone would sample the live version of Heron's "Home is where the hatred is". Genius

Moonshine is still one of the best straight up dance battle songs ever. as witnessed at the SFB.
