Chicago area...forgot the year.
Remember they hyped up "Creature of the Black Lagoon" (i think that was the movie) and they were selling the 3D glasses at all 7-11's so you can see it in 3D.
Man, we all circled the set and i remember Sven saying to change the TV colors to "uniform colors."
IT DIDN'T WORK! What a scam. We all sat there looking like goofs around the set with no 3D action!!!!
Did it work for anyone here?

I still watch this show, actually. It just hits the right spot. Lots of good memories.

I remember when Channel 44 used to be ONTV... and late at night I would try to get the damn line out the middle of the television to watch some XXX... You could hear it fine. Big ass cable box sitting on top of your TV with one dial. (ON/OFF)

I remember there was a yellow bus that used to go to neighborhoods and take us kids to Gary, Indiana for church. They used to give away free goldfish, free candy, free baby chicks. Man, they were dedicated to spreading the word. Are they still around?
