This past Sunday morning, Timmy mixed "look Inside" in over 2 other records for like 20 seconds. Everyone heard it coming, got all excited. Then he didn't end up actually playing it until about an hour later.

The ability to control the crowd with anticipation lingering around every break or pause in the music..

I agree with you on that. Not enough DJs employ the tease these days. Used to blow up the floor when that anticipated record would finally drop. It was like a climax. It is truly a powerful tool and I wonder why more don't do it. Is it an old-school thing that jocks just generally lost interest in it?
