I have been trying to get the 411 on exactly what it's about. Is it a real summit? Where are the meetings held? What is discussed? Who is invited and how do they decide who to invite. What do they try to accomplish. I saw write-ups about 3 parties at Club NY, Centro Fly and Webster Hall. Is it just a series of parties?

Can someone shed some light?

Can someone shed some light? It is a music conference, mainly focusing on the dance music industry. I like it better than Winter Music Conference because there are less people. The BBDMS is more for industry types, Billboard reporters, record pool directors, promotion people, etc. Get more info at http://www.billboardevents.com/billboardevents/index.jsp

Thanks, you were very helpful. I think I will check out the happenings at Union Square.

I personally don't find it too helpful. And it's not nearly as FUN as WMC, in my humble opinion. (Do we ever really work at these things?)
