Mine were:

1. Kill Bill Vol.1
2. Mystic River

There is one more but I can't remember off the top. I tend to like a movie with a twist at the end, sold dialogue and good acting. Both feature what I like.

shit, even i haven't seen any of the LOTR flicks and if they are as good as everyone says they are then maybe that will be my pick as well.

I'm sure that if you incorporate all the movies both new and old into that list most peoples answers would not include movies like Kill Bill.

I finally saw "Bowling for Columbine" which was great. I also caught:
"Swimming Pool" (liked it)
"Kill Bill" (loved It)
"Party Monster" (didn't like it, but I'm biased)
"28 Days Later" (liked it alot - liked the alternate ending better, liked the storyboard extreme ending best!)

Secondly my original post was not directed at you it was at Dolemite(my brother). Secondly you are right people can put kill bill as the best movie they have seen if they desire (people have varied taste). I find it hard to believe however that Kill Bill would be the best or one of the best movies someone has seen this year. I called you a genius because of your superior comprehension skills. You pretty much just reworded what I had said. If you don't want to get your soft lil feelings hurt stay out of grown folks conversation.
