i'vw heard and read many times that the earlier versions of i need your love were much more banging. how come jamie never released those mixes? even now there must be some sort of demand. also can someone point me to a mix that has an early version on it.

The original version was released on Trax in 1987, as opposed to the wack studio mix that came out on Persona in '85. That's (the Trax version) the same mix I received on a reel in 1985.......JMJ

There's a lot of versions of "Your Love". Frank used to play several of the every now & then. Some were slower, In one of them the Bassline was deeper, One of them didn't have Adreine in it (Female backing Jamie), And a few more I can't recall right now. There still is a huge demand for a lot of Jamies' unreleased stuff.

My favorite version of Your Love was Leonard's remix of it.I also used to snap over that 909 track with Your Love in the background.

I have some nice clean versions of Jamie's early stuff. It ain't leaving the house for nuthin'.
