On this sublime D.Carter track can anyone advise where the speech is from ?

2001/2010 Space Odessey (sp) ?

If you have not heard this.......you need to, it clocks in at around 17mins and just goes..... hail.gif

One of my all time favourite House records and Derrick Carter on top of his game (before the bumpy / tracky stuff which i like in moderation)

i really do like that album. it reminds me of pleasant summers of the past. laying around naked with a female,
walking along the beach, etc...

unfortunately i don't know where the sample was taken from.

the same vocal sample is on a compost record, can't remember the artist right now, but the track is the A side, at 45rmp, called "positivity." probably came out 2000 or 2001.

don't know about original source though.

Thats from the same record but thats Derrick Carter singing.... :eek:

He sings on the 2nd half of Tripping Among The Stars.

I think I remember reading something about this record and that the speech is from Timothy Leary, I'm not sure however so don't shoot me if it turns out to be completely wrong... ;)
