Classic Song Id...

While driving with my brother'S car today, I listened to an old Naeem Johnson tape which featured that classic track that has to be out of the Zanzibar/Paradise Garage era.

"I just can't keep holding on" is repeated over and over as well as "Holding on, holding on" by a female chorus.

You guys should be familiar with that one...

i am guessing it may be the UK's Second Image "Can't Keep Holding On" from about 1982 on Polydor which got a stateside release on the Profile label, although i only remember male voices in that song(?????)

speaking of "Second Image", i'm searching for their albums with "Special Lady", "Starting Again", and "Lights Out".....inquire within:)

hey Gerd, thanks for looking out for those Second Image albums...here in the States, they're rather hard to find...i was only able to locate "can't keep holding on" at a thrift shop...
