Alfonso, check the "unpredictable" album and see if it has "Annie Mae"....that is a top Natalie Cole song...

don't recall the "finger paintings" album but i'm pretty fond of Klugh's stuff from the late seventies with his emphasis on fusion.

Run Girl Run -- never heard of the song but with the Latin Rascals in there, you'll likely to hear some of their "chop-and-paste" approach to producing made famous by their megamixes they put out on NYC radio back in the mid-80s...anyhow, "Pow Wow" is famous for club classics such as Subject's "The Magic The Moment" (1985) and Serious Intention's "Serious" (1986)....some of the sickest dubs on a club record ever!

what label is that Penn Avenue Boys record on? let me know brother...speak soon!

Although Pow Wow had Subject (and the excellent Rhythm of Love by Johnny Dynell) it also had some fairly weak stuff and then branched out into reggae (including Telephone Love by JC Lodge, which is great). Quite a category-defying label.

As for Gino Vanelli, yuck! He's still kicking around up here and even had a TV "special" (yawn) this week.

Yes, "Telephone Love" is great. In fact the whole riddim is great. Gregory Isaacs "Rumours"...the flavor of Augustus "Gussie" Clarke was a unique one.

Peace.
