Just a quickie .....

What is the original release? I found a copy by Skratch on Passion Records the other day, but I thought the artist was TC Curtis. Any info on this?

Hmmmm... not for sale at the moment. I am going to go through my records and get rid of stuff I have not used in the past 3 months. I need the space so if that one goes, you will be the first to know. Mint condition both record and jacket. Later, J ... and thanks for the info.

Curtis version only it seems to be recorded in a higher key. They're so similar that Frankie Knuckles would often play an edit he did of the two mixed together at the Powerplant. Most people didn't know the difference. You should pick it up if it's not too expensive.

Version better. The Scratch version is good but the T.C. Version always came off as more deeper and more mature. The Scratch version always seemed like the hot mix version to me because this was the version that was played in the mixshows. IMHO both are good.

There's this freaky tape of Larry playing at the Garage, where he is announced by Michael Brody on the mike after a show, and he starts his set with the T.C. Curtis version.... graemlins/scared.gif at the wrong speed for the first few seconds!!!

(Ahh, those Thorens turntables!!)

Classic!!

Anyone know where I might be able to peep the Skratch version out online?

The TC Curtis track (and the b-side dub) is a personal fav. of mine..
