I am asking this because I was discussing this idea with a promoter. It seems like a good idea, after I slept on it.How did this go?
Feedback is strongly appreciated.

Timmy did play the records of those that told me they brought records down. I brought him my copy of Jah Wabble, How Much Are They and he worked it seamlessly into a raggae set, I didn't expect him to go there with it and thought it was awesome. Those that did bring music down dug deep they didn't bring down stuff that Timmy has in rotation and I loved it. It also showcased the fact that Timmy can do justice to records on the fly, I was truly impressed with that. I thought it was very gutsy on his part, he didn't just play the records he worked them. I saw him listening to some of them on the headset while other stuff was playing, looks like he was figuring out where to fit them in, he did a good job. It probably takes the boredom out of the week to week playing for the DJ too.

This is an interesting concept as long as no one gets their records stolen. I could see it as a challenge for Tommy to quickly learn records that may be unfamiliar to him. I would've loved to hear some of these mixes.

HE playe one of the records I brought. Before he played he asked" It aint scratched is it" .. H e said he was only joking.. I dont think very many people brought records down. As I was taking mine I accidently grabbed some of his .He quickly noticed and got them back, as I didnt notice. All in all I thought it was a cool idea.

i gave timmy my records right after i got there around 7 and he played one immediately and yet again the overcrowded dancefloor went dead to another hot jam... i remember seeing master kev in the booth with a fat grin when it dropped though... after that i stopped requesting to timmy
