What's the title? I really liked Burnin', which is already quite old.

I don't have it infront of me but I guess it's called "Atavisme #4" at least that's what it says on his website. (http://www.atavisme.com) The B side is an all over the place kind of bangin punked out Maurice Fulton kind of a track that I don't really care for, but the A side is DOPE!! IMO.

Two artists that spring to mind that I feel have suffered from this are Ian Pooley and Jii Hoo(Jori Hulkonnen)(sp?). In the beginnings of their careers I was very taken with both these guys, but as they put out more records with less time in between them and remixes for major labels, I feel their quality deffinately went down... just my opinion though...

Here's a clip of Pepe Bradock's "Life" if anyone has not already heard it:

All his stuff consistently has something to offer. This is called '4', as klas says.
If anyone is missing on his early ep's, they just restocked most of them here (http://www.piccadillyrecords.com)

Pepe is alright with me. "4" is much better than his last record. Even if it says "F#ck"...
Has somebody heard him deejaying?

Peace.

I loved the 6 millions pintades ep, the tracks Life & Ghost are outstanding. I also liked the tracks Lara & 18 Carats on Un Pepe En.

Someone played 'Burning' last week at Glastonbury (still love the Freddie Hubbard original), one of the highlights of the weekend for me. Johnny Hammond's 'Los Conquistadores Chocolates' was also dropped in the Dance Tent, I didn't expect that !

pepe bradock always fools me. on the first listen i mostly think: "hmm, this one isn't that spectacular as the last one". but all of his tracks are real growers! same with this new one. i wasn't that impressed when i heard it about two month ago but when i first played it out i knew better!!

btw, anyone know his remix of Incognito on Talkin' loud? that one is sooo beautiful!

Pepe Bradock is indeed really talented as a producer; there's at least 6 records i can play out any time( 'Laura', 'Life', 'Burnin', Iz and Diz rmx on Classic, 'Angola' rmx, 'Morning Sun' rmx...).Always deep and right on point!Very cool guy as well!
As a Dj he's not as consistent, but he can rock it in a good day( came a few times at Plastic People in London ).
Respect!

Fopps are good, but they tend to smell of body odour. Which is highly unpleasant

Sorry - I think I see your point now - that they aren't releases from Pepe Braddock per se, but Braddock (but then we could get pedantic about the Brad Peepz stuff too, couldn't we)?

Just to further this sillyness, I tought I should add the Trankilou stuff he did early on too, because I like those too:

-Escalope De Dingue EP, 12" (Kif)
-St Glin-Glin EP, 12" (BPM Records (France))
