Nice mix of classic jams mixed by DJ Spinbad. This mix was only available on 90-minute cassette, but has been ripped for your listening pleasure. Although the tape was released in 2000, I posted it here as it has a lot of old school jams from the 1980's. Lots of cutting and scratching on this one, so if you don't like any "tricks" in your mix, this isn't for you.

Thank you for the track ID, Mike! :respent:

As for the scratch question, I did read on a different board that this is the same dude. Don't quote me on that, though.

Hey Mike,

This is not the same Spinbad from Phili. This Spinbad is from Queens. Spinbad won a local battle sometime in the eary 90's. Earned his rep through his mixtapes. First making undaground hip-hop mixes using his tricks then eventually doing r&b mixtapes by the late 90's.Also made mixtapes wit JS1 & Dj Slinky. What brought attention to Spinbad was the 80's megaix pt. 2. Pt. 1 was dope in its self, but it was pt. 2 that really brought attention to Spinbad. Since then he became Moby's dj for a minute. Now he is tourning all ova the world. Just did a 90's megamix last yr. Spinbad put in sum werk on it, but most of rock. I believe Spinbad website addy www.spinbad.com. I have been a fan of his work since 2001.
