Hi,
I was wondering on which LP I can find the track 'Make Someone Feel Happy', and I would also like to know if the LP version is worth getting or if I better look for the 12", if there is a 12" of course...
Feeeeheeeed Me....knowledge!

Hi Red,
You should pick up a copy of the LP which also has 'just us' smile.gif ,
'earth can be just like heaven' and 'I got the feeling'.

http://www.disco-funk.co.uk/t/Covers/two_tons.jpg Great LP. Do You Wanna Boogie is also on the album, although the BBE 12" is the one to have......JMJ

One of my favourite songs!!!
The lp version is short and S-W-E-E-T,
but there is also a dope italian bootleg (from the same people who did the bbe boot) with a house mix which kills a dancefloor.

http://www.disco-funk.co.uk/t/Covers/two_tons.jpg When I was a scared little fledgling DJ in the early 80's, there was a huge gay scene around NY's Christopher Street with clubs like the Ring and such. (They were very different than Better Days but I knew some DJs there, so went to see what was up.)
One DJ there was named Howard Merritt..you may never have heard of him unless you're really old school. Anyway, he did a mix on Sylvester's "I Need You" (a HUGE record for me anyway) which had two amazing things: a killer piano solo that went on for like five minutes....and Martha and Izora doing the most awesome background vocals, which Howard pushed way up front. It was a killer mix and I was lucky enough to get an acetate from Howard, which I immediately put on reel to reel.
Instant arms in the air when those vocals hit.
