... and I'd just like to say Rest In Peace to Tore Kroknes aka EROT... A great producer who died before his time... I truely miss not having any new Erot tracks to look forward to... But the works that he has done live on... hail.gif

edit: added Erot's name to the subject so hopefully more people will see this and take a moment to reflect on this man's music...

Good topic Klas.

I remember hearing Curtis Mayfield’s “give me your love” and recognizing the sampled Erot used for “Two songs for Annie”.... Excellent music. R.I.P.

I remember tripping out when I heard the Crusader's "Sweet 'n sour" I think Erot sampled this in one of his songs although I can't remember which one at the moment...

The Mayfield track is worth getting. It’s much slower. I heard it the first time a few months ago walking in Amsterdam. A comedian was doing his little show on Dam square. He simulated the entrance of the V.I.P. section of a club and was selecting people in a fictual line-up, bringing them “inside”, serving them drinks. “Give me your love” was playing in the background. Only in Amsterdam ;)

DO you have 3 Chins?

No offense to Joshua (great name by the way) but the original mix is great and should not have been touched much less housed up as it was...imo
