Found this to be an interesting tidbit. I thought the fees were even across the board ... how wrong I was:

Thanks for the article Juan. I had no idea African-American babies were so cheap. I just ordered two. They make great foot warmers. Honestly, I see nothing wrong with the practice as explained in the article and I believe that to liken the practice to slavery is ridiculous. I noticed in the article that when opponents of the difference in fees were given legitimate reasons for their use, they had no response other than to say it shouldn't be that way. If you cannot provide a viable alternative then you're just blowing hot air.
