TAC Steve went there, too? I did put Ian Schraeder on the list. I thought it was just Ian. More power to the club.

Oh, yeah, ESPN play by play man Derrin Horton.

One of them had an MBA from the school of management, or went to it as an undergrad. Grad school comes in somewhere because one of them stayed up there due to not being able to get a job. They met during this time.

I don't know if you knew, but Syracuse had a wicked reputation for being a party school. 54 all makes sense if you knew what Syrause was like back then.

Peace

Tito Puente's daughter used to go to SU. He came on campus to visit a few times. How can you forget about "The moose", Daryl Johnston? I played on the football team from 1989-1993.

Yes, I forgot about Tito's daughter. He did gigs on campus. That man would bring tears to the latino's eyes when he would play. In fact that sh*t would spread to all of us, and we'd all be crying.

"What happen...ba bahhhh, I don't know...ba bahhh..."

Ah the days...

How could I forget the Moose? He was on campus from 83-84 through 87-88. He was on that 87 team where Don McPherson should have won the Heisman Trophy (DO YOU HEAR THAT TIM BROWN?????????). I remember him taking the whole state of West Virginia 15 yards into the end zone. 13 years with the Cowboys.

Rembember the 1988 draft, too. Second round, Redskins need a back bad, and were ahead of Dallas. All the draft gurus thought Skins would pick either him, or SU TB Rob Drummond (forgot him, too!). But they traded the pick for Atlanta veteran RB Gerald Riggs. Cowboys picked Moose. Riggs didn't pan out very well, (was on the decline of his career). Moose had a Hall of Fame?, 3 Super Bowl run for Dallas.

What a firestorm that created. If I'm wrong, tell me.

I gotta go meet with one of the "Tigers" now. I was in the process of hooking up with the NBA, but I did not complete the paper work when I was down there.

As for joining anyone anywhere, I don't get vacation!!! Last summer, I took work with me to the Vineyard, and billed while the family played.

There you go with the G'Town thingy again. :D But, you know what, its all good cause the Cuse brought the championship back to the Big East where it belongs, and your heart is in the right place anyway. ;)

Peace

as for the childrena: resistance is futile

Here's a few more cats who played For Syracuse through the years.

3.Dale Shackelford
4.Marty Head
5.Hal Cohen

7.Gene Waldron
8.Herman Harried
9.Earl Duncan
10.Allan Griffin
11.Michael Edwards
On the low, Boo Harvey was very instrumental in Sherman Douglass being recruited by Syracuse in 1985, Boo Harvey was already signed(Letter of Intent)to go to Syracuse in 1985, But he did not pass his SAT test and he had to go to Junior College(San Jacinto in Texas)for a few, And that opened the door for Syracuse(Assistant Coach Bernie Fine)to recruit Sherman Douglass(Even though he was Player of the year in Washington,DC in 1985, He(Sherman Douglass)was not very highly recruited by alot of the big schools back then/Funny how things turn out for people(LOL).
Later
Mike Barnes

P.S. This is the reason why Sherman Douglass was not very highly recruited coming out of Springarn High School in Washington DC in 1985.
1.Rod Strickland-AllAmerican(New York)
2.Boo Harvey-AllAmerican(New York)
3.Kenny Wilson-AllAmerican(New Jersey/Played in the backcourt with Dave Rivers at St.Anthoney's in Jersey City,New Jersey.
4.Pooh Richardson-AllAmerican(Philadelphia)
5.Michael Porter-AllAmerican(Virginia)Played with Boo Harvey at San Jac(San Jacinto in Texas, then at St.Johns in New York.
To many tough cats to go through to get the major schools to be on yours back then(1985), But it worked out very good for my man(Sherman Douglass).
