As someone who was profoundly disgusted with the portrayal of Latinos and the exploitation of Hispanic stereotypes perpetuated by the Homies figurine and doll collection, in agreement with Ultra the first time this issue came up on message boards, I must admit I was a little disturbed when I saw the similarities of the above images.

It was the only time Ultra and I practically agreed on anything. What gives? Im confused now.

i need to break away from the "latino player" stereotype. These images of homies just add to the continuing exploitation brought forth by the mass media and tv programs like chico & the man. why do they refer to these girls as "fresh off the boat"? Are they saying all latinos are immigrants?
