Dear Friends,
Last week, we had a few great guest DJs appearing at Bang The Party: JoVonn, Samir and Flood (who flew in from sunny Mexico and straight in to a blizzard!). Unfortunately, the blizzard kinda f*%ked things up and many people were unable to travel through the snow, ice and wind to the Duplexx. But this week, Friday, December 12th, it's supposed to be a lovely 40-degrees or so -- perfect weather to boogie down by the Brooklyn Navy Yard with EMan & the BTP All-Stars! The BTP All-Stars is a conglomeration of many of the DJs who, through the years, have held residencies at BTP alongside EMan: Joey Llanos, Adam Scott, Serge Negri and Julian Bevan. We are happy and honored to have them all playing together for the second-to-last BTP....it is going to be hot! Downstairs, that special guy Djinji Brown returns for his much-loved monthly BTP visit. Now, as you know, next week, Friday, December 19th, will be the final weekly installment of Bang The Party, after 6 long years! {{sniffle, sniffle}} You should have received my long letter explaining everything last week. Thanks so much to everyone who replied with such warm wishes about your feelings towards BTP and EMan and me and the whole BTP Crew. We expect to have a great send-off party on the last night with EMan and our friend, DJ Antonio Ocasio (Tribal Winds/Calor) as these guys play so perfectly together, you will certainly be in house music heaven. Straight from there, EMan and I will be whisked away to Chocolate City to do Bang The Party Atlanta, in celebration of our BTP album, on Saturday, December 20th at Deep/MJQ. No doubt, it will be a funky, fun-filled, fabulous BTP weekend!
In the meantime, we really love and appreciate all of you who have been supporting us (both in person and in spirit) through the years and we hope to see you together - dancing - at Bang The Party!
