Thankyou for the well wishes DHP and extended family . Just coming to the end of a fantastic weekend and probably the "bestest birthday ever" - serious ! . From being with immediate family on saturday morn/aftnoon , to a real nice get together at the Lane musically hosted by my Voices crew and special guests DJ Noora - finest up and coming soul struttin R&B , Hip Hop lady , Simon Parris and his ever so sweet box of "rare ass you like" disco and choice 90's house cuts - Took me back a nice minute with "The Conversation" , Special Agent and his Italo madness takin a chance with Mr Flagio and vinyl gifts ! . Voices residents Ramar and Cedric Woo taking it to the last minute "Have a drink on me" .
Jonny McIntosh for the gifts , very kind sir . The music room will be open for your booking as you wish ;) .
Sarah for the little teasing before my whole crew gave something to ride more than the 1200's :D and hopefully now a major cut down on the nightbus jaunts ! .
I felt love from so many and as I looked around the room on sat night and realised what a dope posse of friends I'm blessed with .
Going on to Plastic People to be complimented by Ade downstairs and meeting up with more friends and those going on from the Lane .
And Francois beating Plastic's soundsystem to the max with a truly open style of music . highlights of "records not sounding like they did before" . Marvin Gaye , War , Instant House , Donnie , Johnny Hammond- nice mix ;) Beyonce and Miss Dynamite , The Doors - Riders in the storm and some great new dub and techno tracks .
As we strolled on till around 7am the feeling of the music and what had gone on really hit home ! .
A great night of music played in such a way you could only love it more and more .

It's mad Jonny I played the record yesterday and instantly remembered it as one I loved . Also I had a Ron hardy tape with this track on it , and had been wondering what the track was even though it sounded so familiar .
