One last meal??

Ok guys if you had one last meal what would it be??

A meal that maybe youre mum taught you how to make or one that is embedded in youre cooking skillz armourey!or even one you cant see past!


Mines is

Pan fried Chicken breast stuffed with scottish haggis and wrapped in bacon!

Served with homemade mustard/honey sauce and Roast potatoes and honey glazed carrots! :D

Aperitif: Lindeman's Framboise Lambic
Appetizer: Eel/cucumber roll with lots of wasabi
Wine: Penfolds Grange
Entree: Shrimp pad thai (medium/hot)
Dessert: Flourless chocolate cake

And...cap it off with a nice glass of Laphroaig 15 yr Scotch. :D

MIne would be my mother's oxtail stew with rice. On the side would be lots of fried plantain. I would love a big glass of coke with lots of ice. And for desert it would have to be some west indian butter mango cake.....oh and pine tarts. mmm mmm mmm

That would be a tough choice. It would probably be Veal Madrilena or Gnocchi with quatro formaggio. The veal is breaded and is served with a tomato base sauce and served with yellow rice and portuges fries ( they look like potato chips). Gnocchi is Italian potato pasta it's boiled and then smothered with a four cheese sauce. Damn have to tell the wife to make that Gnocchi tonight.

Ok, assuming we are...

i have no need to eat/feel healthy any more since this is my last supper, right? ..

a beautifully cooked filet minion, that has been lieing around in wine sauce , wrapped in bacon, topped with the freshest of vidalia onions, ...another one of those....maybe another, cous cous in olive oil, antipasto salad with plenty of vegetables, meats, and whatever else to keep the taste buds humming, the freshest olive oil on that, the sweetest tasting balsamic vinegar, shoe string french fries, roasted vegetables, roasted brie, roasted garlic, pasta primavera (so, I'm a pig!), I don't know which wine would go with this, but it would have to be a bottle of some sweet red wine.

for dessert :

baked alaska, chocolate mousse with raspberries, creme brulee, cinnemon ice cream, rum raison ice cream, coconut icecream with pineapple.

and to wash that all down :

mango juice!

my last eats would consist of my favorite things

sushi
salmon fillets and vegetables (green/red peppers, onions, chinese cabbage, carrots) marinated in my special marinade and cooked to perfection...(keeping my cooking secrets - a secret)
wild rice with ginger soy sauce
multigrain baguette bread with honey butter

a bottle of Merlot

I'm not really a desert fan but shit since it's my last meal.....a huge piece of sock-it-to me cake topped with vanilla bean ice cream

that's it...Oh...can I throw in a tripple vodka martini...that's it

Glenmorangie is my usual, it's what got me started in single malts. I keep a bottle of Glenlivet 12 around for everyday drinking.
I've had Glenfarclas 15 before & remember that I enjoyed it, but it has been a couple yrs.....
