Charles Dickens " A Christmas Carol" was published in 1843.
I love Dickens and this is one of his most scathing attacks on the human condition.
Hopefully there are peeps who have ALSO read the book
Its a job well done

Great Expectations has got to be one of the coolest stories ever thought up.

If you want to check out some modern Dickens, see the movie "Lilya 4-Ever".

I know where you're coming from, and personally I can appreciate it, but giving it a rest here and there might make your deeper meanings more accessible to those who can't get past the yelling and the scolding. Take this with a grain of salt, or take this as constructive criticism from someone who often sees your points lost on a great many DHPers.
