TAC,

does the rednose distrikt lp have 'crazy about your woman' included? if not, make sure you check that out. 92 bpm sounding a bit like jill scott.

another one to check is the yotoko lp 'wet ink' on delsin records. domu and his mate shift doing an album of brokenbeat hiphop etc stuff.

TAC,

this (http://www.rushhour.nl/distribution/rushhourrec/rh-ltd003.html) is the rednose record i'm talking about. just saw it's not included on the album. [it's included in this mix (http://www.rushhour.nl/index.asp?news=126) ]

and you might also like this (http://www.rushhour.nl/distribution/rushhourrec/rh016.html) , recloose 'us vs. us' with a rednose remix.

jurren [oh, and the rednose album is a compilation of previously released singles, so guess who's LATE? graemlins/rofl.gif ]

Everytime I go to the record store to get the prime choice cuts, they're always sold out. I have to wait until this weekend when shipment comes in.

I picked up a copy of Amp Fiddler's album a couple weeks back does anyone know when its oficially released in the UK?

the "crazy about your woman" is definitely on the vinyl version of the Rednose Distrikt album. initally the lp was planned as a CD only release, but now they pressed it on vinyl and included new stuff. the vinyl tracklisting is totally different.
more good stuff from the Rushhour camp:
- the IG Culture versions of "space is the place" that were not on the remix double album.
- the new Peven Everett 12" ( Kissing Game / Puerto Rico new version ); taken from the upcoming album.

The Amp Fiddler was released in Europe this week as a very limited gatefold sleeve double album. i think the "ordinary" release will be in a few weeks.

Didn't get the whole Only Child album but definitely dig the Yam Who remix of this one track with Amp Fiddler. the 12" came out last week.

The "trip do West" is a new series from the same source as "trip do brasil". gotta admit that i didn't like the Blaze version too much ( listened to it only once but sounded a bit too "new age" for me ). almost picked up the 12" because of the Chateau Flight mix but then again i didn't sound like their best work.

another album gets me all excited: catched a double album re-issue of one of my all-time hiphop favourites:
Main Source - Breakin atoms.
my original copy was all worn out and almost unlistenable. difficult to tell if the release is legit though ( also has a few bonus cuts, one of them being "fakin the funk", yeaaah!!)
