They've somewhat tried. He was in a movie with Steven Segal and DMX. He just needs that breakthrough script. Hell he could have played Daredevil because Ben Affleck SUCKED. No worse than that he played every comic fan with his stiff azz!

Your are absolutely correct, He would have played one hell of a Daredevil, Hollywood continues to sleep on these types of actors.
Its a shame that this is happening, i guess when you want something done you have to do it yourself and that means a low budget film that doesnt have the same Marketing, Production because of the lack of Funds available making the movie seem less spectacular that it would if the right money was backing it.

Y'all saw Michael Jai as Mike Tyson, right? Perfect in that role.

Hollywood just doesn't want to put Black folk in "white guy roles". That's why MJW did not get the Daredevil part.

I'm still looking for Laurence Fishburne as Kojak. That's right, I said it! Name me a white guy, right now, who has the look and charisma to play Uncle Telly. Laurence has got it! Peace.

How does ONE GOOD point about ONE actor turn into racial screed?
Without calling any members out, who may have been just caught up in the moment- X members stated:

"Hollywood just doesn't want to put Black folk in "white guy roles". That's why MJW did not get the Daredevil part."

Did MJW audition for the part? And Michael Clarke Duncan portrayed a WHITE character- The KINGPIN in the movie.
More good points, mixed with racial stuff:

"I'm still looking for Laurence Fishburne as Kojak. That's right, I said it! Name me a white guy, right now, who has the look and charisma to play Uncle Telly. Laurence has got it!"

You will be pleased to know that the new TV season will bring us VING RHAMES as Kojak in a new series on USA network. Fish would have been cool too, about 20 pounds ago........

Didn't know about Ving as Kojak.
Forgot about MCD as Kingpin.

Like I said, you'll be hard pressed to see many more of those. Peace.

Neither Chris Rock. Ving Rhames' character in the Mission:Impossible flicks was conceived as a white character. Axel Foley from "Beverly Hills Cop" was originally a Stallone vehicle.

It isn't as deep as all of that. A handsome, buffed, sex symbol like Michael Jai White has mad competition in Hollywood - just like anyone else. Black men sell!

It's black women who can't get a ****in' part to save their lives. And don't get on Latino and Asian actors. You want to hear some sob stories - ask how many parts there are for Koreans in Hollywood.

Black folks run shit out here.
