View Full Version : Who's your favorite "ugly" celebrity?
Okay, okay, I know that sounds a bit harsh. :( But, we all can name someone famous who DEFINITELY didn't get where they are because of a pretty face. Truth be told, I think its wonderful that intelligence, drive, talent, and savvy can elevate an unattractive individual to the same celebrity status as a beautiful/handsome person. smile.gif
Here's two of my picks: Forrest Whittaker, Woody Allen.
Peace,

I don't really know what you mean by "ugly". Forrest Whitaker does not fit that description. But, I'll give it a try: Keith Richards.

Hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you think Forest Whittaker is good looking, I ain't mad atcha! ;) You hit the nail on the head with Keith Richards! Dude is definitely a tad bit scary looking!!

andrea You serious andrea? If so, you must be looking REALLY deep below the surface... ;) I love Forrest as an actor and Woody as an actor and director. (His films are brilliant!!) But, you'll never see either one of those guys as "Sexiest Man Alive" or listed in the 50 most beautiful people...

Ps.
Below is a wonderful poem. Audrey Hepburn wrote it
when she was asked to share her "beauty tips." It was read at her funeral years later.
~
~
A LOVELY WOMAN
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never
walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.
Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you
have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the
other for helping others.

There are no ugly people, just people you and I are not particularily attracted to.
I hate saying "this person is unattractive, and that person is unattractive" but I get carried away with the mob's movement, so here are three guys who don't make my tackle tickle (there are no ugly women):
-DJ Qualls (from "Road Trip" and "The New Guy")
-Jon Voight (his daughter is rather fetching, though)
-Jamie Kennedy

-HML </font>[/QUOTE]I am very serious. I truly don't feel that your surface beauty makes you attractive, it comes down to your little traits, mannerisms, confidence, etc. that creates an attractive nature. woody has a tremendous creative mind and this makes him gorgeous. Forrest is understated and you want to delve into his thoughts, this makes him beautiful. It's all about substance.

and he can dance! Seriously, Cristopher Walken has nothing to do with this thread, especially when he was young. In fact, I would put him on the list of the "sexiest" celebrities. He's got that sort of appeal, like David Bowie, in a way.
The lead singer from the Ramones (Joey).
