as per there site when they updated it they said that buisness has increased dramtically to an extreme level that is why ie. they decided for the new site
who is really closing there shop on premisis are Deep Dish who are closing there Yoshop in DC but will keep there online buisness going as well as there labels merchandise etc = apparently they had problems to extend there shop lease as to what i heard
N NYC, U're kiddn!....(?)

yeah they havent bought any new stock for the main NYC store in a while.
i wouldnt be surprised if they go down..a combo of "maybe-not-the-best" business decisions combined with the "vacuum" that used to be the NYC economy could make it a challenge for them.
i see the site staying on-line and the shops closing...much like temple and to a lesser extent dub spot

Yes, they are truly missed by many. They were very kind. Another good thing I liked about them is that they did not sell bootlegs (bad music karma).

Don't confuse Satellite's on-line service (located in Brookyln warehouse) with Satellite's Record Stores. The latter isn't looking to good...
