At 718 sessions, Danny Krivit's monthly party, Joe Claussell dropped this in the middle of a set. Everybody's hands were in the air...

I was thinking of doing a remix of this song. I am serious! I had this song loaded as a wav file in my ACID Pro 4.0 ready to be sliced and diced but got sidetracked. I heard it on a light rock station at work and thought at least the conga break was the sh*t!!! Now at 35 myself I appreciate that style of music myself. Peace.

Wow! I was a kid when my mom brought this album home and I being a dancer - always thought of dancing to this one day.
Ironic enough, he is singing at New Jersey Performing Arts Center along with Peobo(?) Bryson, Sheena Easton (?) and Irene Cara.
Someone mentioned Fame! LOL
Shame about ole Peobo(?)! :(

on my record, it might actually be C Cross himself, now that i think about it.
it's damn good. It's got what i would describe as dueling spanish guitars, playing it up.

true story:
I was at work with my headphones on listening to Rahaan's last mix and when dropped "Ride Like the Wind" I almost lost it at work.
Man, It took me so much by suprise that I couldn't sleep right for a couple of days after that. That song is the shit!
Thanks a lot, Rahaan!

Vince Montana also produced an instrumental version, put out on a PSW 12" in '82.
